The elderly, children, mothers in difficulty, families living in poverty: we bring essential goods and, above all, work.
Sakila per il Nepal is a volunteer organisation based in Italy, founded by Sakila Shrestha and registered with RUNTS, Italy's national third-sector register.

What we do

Financial support is right in an emergency; after that it must be steady work that provides for families.

Job opportunities for women on their own, or who have to provide for their family, and for vulnerable people: a steady income instead of lifelong assistance.

Fundraising in Italy and essential goods bought in Nepal (new clothing, shoes and toys for children) for the people hit by the flood.
Activities
In Italy we raise funds with sports events, stalls selling Nepali products and the 5 per mille. For members we organise trips to Nepal to discover its culture.

News
After the flood of 26 August 2026 we started a fundraiser: with the proceeds we buy clothing, shoes and toys for children in Nepal.
On Saturday 16 May 2026, at the Bariano municipal sports centre, a day of sport, music and Nepali food in support of families in need in Nepal.
